Scrap Volume 4 is officially complete! Expect it out soon.

Well few days late posting this, but everything went well at University by the Sea. It was a nice sunny day, and we had fun.  We got to meet interesting people, and fellow artists. Quite a larger crowd than I expected, there was live music and of course the most important thing of all we got free ice cream.

Thanks to everyone that came out to support University by the Sea and everyone that came by our booth!

We will be at University by the Sea from 10am to the very end, Located in East Village Long Beach, otherwise known as the art district, we will be there with our recent publications and promoting our 4th book, we have T-shirts and other things you can stop by and check out.

It is a pretty big festival, lots of other artist particpating and events will be taking place also, come down and support other local artist and get some free ice cream.

We are extending the deadline for submissions from August 15th to August 31st.  For those that are rushing, you have a little bit more time to retouch and improve your pieces.

Comic Con turned out great, lots to see there, people were great for the most part and we got to meet lots of great aritists from Ashely Wood to the Creature Box guys, got art books and some tips for the industry.

We took some pictures, but since my camera was kind of crapping out most of them came out like crap, anyways back to working on Vol.4 which we plan to extend the deadline, but haven’t decided on a specific date as of yet, just check within the week for an update for an extension date.

Few of us will be attending the San Diego Comic Con this year starting July 24-27, we won’t have a booth this time around, but we’ll be around checking out other artists. Be sure to check out one of our participating artist from our book, Rose Schellenberg, which she will have a booth there called Panoramic Mania.

Other then that, hope to see some people there.

So it’s the first Saturday of May. Who cares? Listen up; this may change your life. The first Saturday of May is celebrated as FREE COMIC BOOK DAY. Basically all participating comic shops will be giving away comics…for FREE. So go out and collect all the free goods it won’t cost you a dime. And if you find yourself in the Long Beach area come visit us at Pulp Fiction.
